At 1:15 p.m. on April 13, a Ryder Center employee called to report that there was a male and female arguing and it became physical. Officers spoke with a 15-year-old male and his mother. The mother grabbed him and left a mark and small cut on the male’s arm. The situation was turned over to Child Protective Services in the county the mother and son were from.
At 9:34 p.m. on April 14, a 20-year-old female student reported that her ex-boyfriend, a 20-year-old male student, has been banging on her apartment door. He had been following her prior to the appearance. The female advised that he kept weapons in his room. When contact was made with the male, he stated that he was after an emotional support dog. A gun was found in his apartment, but he did have a concealed carry license. He was asked to take the weapon off campus and the situation was turned over to Student Conduct Programs for resolution.
