At 7:50 p.m. Aug. 24, maintenance workers reported a 23-year-old male student loading a bed that is SVSU property into his truck. Officers made contact with the student and told him he needed to return the bed.
At 5:31 a.m. Aug. 26, officers were assisting with breaking up a party of over 2,500 people in Campus Village. Multiple departments responded to disperse the group. One subject refused to leave the premises after being asked to multiple times. He threw several bottles at the officers and their vehicles, damaging one. The non-student was arrested for disorderly conduct.
At 8:28 p.m. Aug. 27, a 20-year-old female student reported that her 22-year-old ex-boyfriend who is also a student had been calling her and saying inappropriate things, including threats. Both subjects were told to have no contact via any platform.
