At 1:01 a.m. on Oct. 31, a 20-year-old female and 21-year-old male student got into an argument over the “philosophical theory about using certain language about suicide.” The argument began inside of Curtiss Hall.
As the argument continued, the male followed the female out to her car and got in. The male subject refused to get out of the car or leave her alone. Officers separated the two and asked them to go their separate ways.
Minor in Possession
At 1:10 a.m. on Nov. 1, officers were called regarding a person who was highly intoxicated in the First Year Suites. When of officers arrived, they found several people in the room who had been drinking. Ten people were cited for minor in possession, two as a second offense.
At 11:27 a.m. on Nov. 5, several female students reported that they were missing several
pairs of shoes from their dorm in Living Center Southwest. Through investigation, officers found that an 18-year-old female student had entered their room and took the shoes. The suspect indicated that she could not recall what happened as she was intoxicated and has no recollection of entering their room or taking shoes. This incident was still under investigation.
At 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 31, a 20-year-old female student reported that when she attempted to deposit a check into her account, she was advised that her account was frozen due to fraudulent activity.
She reported that her purse was stolen earlier in the year and that someone had been opening up credit cards and other accounts with her information. She was counseled on the process to take in order to clean up her records and stop the fraud.
