At 1 p.m. on Nov. 6, a 52-year-old female reported that she loaned a 22-year-old male student a cellphone because he broke his. He was supposed to get another one and return hers. He had not been returning her calls and was not answering. When officers made contact with him, he said that the phone been stolen.

At 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 6, a 25-year-old male student reported that he got into a fight with a 27-year-old male student at a gym off campus. When of officers reviewed tapes, they found that the male who reported the fight was the instigator. Saginaw Township police took this case, but the 25-year-old led a complaint with the university. The situation was turned over to Title IX for review.

At 10:35 p.m. on Nov. 12, of officers were called to University Village regarding two females in the parking lot having a verbal fight. Officers made contact and the females said that they were just messing around and it was a misunderstanding. The situation was turned over to the Office of Residential Life for resolution.

Roommate Dispute
At 2:59 p.m. on Nov. 9, a 19-year-old female student reported that numerous incidents have happened with her roommate in University Village since they had started rooming together. There were allegedly inappropriate tweets made by one roommate about her. Upon contact with the roommate, she advised that nothing that was said constituted threats. The situation was turned over to the Office of Residential Life for resolution.

At 3:37 p.m. on Nov. 7, of officers were called to meet with Residential Life Staff in University Village regarding a room that had marijuana paraphernalia in plain view during health and safety checks. When officers arrived, they found the paraphernalia and marijuana wax. A 21-year-old male student admitted to it being his and the situation was turned over to Student Conduct Programs for review.

At 9:49 p.m. on Nov. 9, of officers were patrolling J-2 Lot when they noticed
a vehicle running with no lights on. There were several people in the vehicle. Officers smelled marijuana and saw smoke coming from the car. There was one male student and four male non-students in the car. They all admitted to smoking, and a 19-year-old student said that it was his first time smoking marijuana. He collapsed shortly after and was transported to the hospital.
