Former SVSU football head coach Jerry Kill has reignited his passion for college athletics by accepting a position as Associate Athletics Director for Administration at Kansas State University.

Early in May, Kansas State athletic director John Currie announced that the former Cardinal will be taking his talents to Division I football, fulfilling all of the administrative duties for the Wildcats and coach Bill Snyder.

As a Kansas native, this position could not be a more perfect fit for Kill.

Kill has coached at many universities, including the University of Minnesota, Northern Illinois University, Southern Illinois University Carbondale and Emporia State University, as well as SVSU.

During his five-year stint as the Cardinals’ coach, which began in 1994, Kill posted a 38-14 record for the University, producing five consecutive winning seasons.
