Larceny
At 10 p.m. Monday, Sept. 21, a 19-year-old male student reported his wallet was stolen from his room in the First Year Suites.
On Tuesday, Sept. 29, an 18-year-old male student reported someone had made numerous unauthorized withdrawals totaling more than $400 from the account connected to his debit card. This case is still under investigation.
Minor in Possession
At 12:24 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, police officers were called to Living Center North to meet with Residential Life staff members. All subjects in the room were 18-year-old males and had been drinking alcohol. This case is being handled internally.
Property Damage
At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, a 20-year-old male reported he had parked his car in F-Lot and came back three hours later to find a large crack in the bumper of his car. He also found a note on his windshield from a 50-year-old student who admitted to hitting his car.
At 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, a 21-year-old female student reported she had parked her car in G-3 Lot and came back an hour later to find someone had hit her front bumper, causing minor damage.
Personal Injury Accident
At 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, a 19-year-old non-student was driving north on Bay Road when she missed her turn into the University’s main entrance. She began to make a legal U-turn when she was struck by another north bound vehicle owned by a 19-year-old student. Both vehicles were totaled, but their occupants suffered only minor injuries.
Verbal Dispute
At 12:08 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, police were called to Pioneer Hall to meet with a 34-year-old employee. The employee reported two students walking around the building while he cleaned it. He told the students that the building was closed and told them to leave several times, but he was ignored. One of the students kicked over the employee’s mop bucket and spilled its contents all over the floor. This case has been turned over to the Student Code of Conduct.
