“(My proudest moment at SVSU was) running for homecoming with several other friends who are great leaders on campus while representing Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., as positive role model for campus,” she said.
How SVSU has influenced her:
“SVSU has help me find my purpose and professional calling,” she said. “I have had the chance to grow academically, spiritually, and socially by being active on my campus and community.”

Stanford will work on obtaining his CPA license and begin working for Plante Moran in August.
Proudest moment at SVSU:
“(My proudest moment at SVSU was) becoming an Academic All American after my junior football season,” he said. “So that, combined my academic success as a student, along with my accomplishments as a player on the football team.”
How SVSU has influenced him:
“Going to SVSU really gave me confidence to … succeed in life. From all of classes, extracurricular activities, career service events, athletics, and professors, I feel well prepared for whatever life throws my way,” he said. “I have learned much in my five years of attending SVSU, and I’m forever grateful for being given this opportunity.”
