Unfortunately for the overzealous driver, they misjudged the speed difference between their car and the heavily loaded lorry. What follows is a collision that feels straight out of an action film — only there’s no stunt coordinator here, just bad judgement.
Caught on camera, dragged into reality
The moment of impact is clear as day. As the red car clips a white vehicle during the ill-advised overtake, it’s spun directly into the path of the truck. From there, it becomes something of a warning tale in motion. The truck, unable to stop in time, makes contact and begins dragging the car sideways along the road.
It’s not just dramatic — it’s chilling. The crushed bonnet, the scraping tyres, the car practically welded to the front of the truck. Had it been a few metres ahead or a few seconds later, the outcome could have been far worse.
