Product Recall Alert: Do not eat these popular products if you have them in your fridge

Show summary Hide summary

If you’ve been stocking up your fridge or relying on everyday household products, it might be time for a quick safety check. Federal agencies have announced four separate recalls—covering frozen vegetables, eggs, baby loungers, and even popular SUVs—that could affect thousands of families across the U.S.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s happening:

1. Frozen Vegetables Pulled Over Listeria Concerns

New York-based Endico Potatoes has issued a recall for select frozen vegetable products after testing detected possible listeria contamination at a Pennsylvania facility. While no illnesses have been linked to the recall yet, the FDA warns that listeria can cause serious infections, especially for pregnant women, newborns, and people with weakened immune systems.

Products recalled:

  • Peas and Carrots (Lot #110625, Production: June 11, 2025, Sell by: June 10, 2027)

  • Mixed Vegetables (Lot #170625, Production: June 17, 2025, Sell by: June 16, 2027)

These items were sold at retailers—including H Mart—between July 18 and August 4, 2025, in Connecticut, Florida, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

If you bought these, return them to the store immediately for a refund.

2. Ford Recalls Over 213,000 SUVs

If you drive a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator, you’ll want to pay attention. Ford has recalled about 213,000 vehicles due to a defect in the Body Control Module (BCM) that can cause trailer lights to malfunction.

But that’s not all—the issue may also affect power windows, mirrors, HVAC systems, and even USB ports. SUVs with more than 6,000 miles may not experience the problem, but Ford is urging all owners to have their vehicles inspected.

Key details:

  • Recall notices will be sent out by October 13, 2025

  • Free repairs (BCM replacement) will be available March 31 – April 3, 2026

3. 23,000 Baby Loungers Recalled for Safety Risks

Pomona has recalled 23,000 URMYWO baby loungers after the Consumer Product Safety Commission flagged them as a suffocation and fall hazard.

Product details:

  • Style: “Grey Feather”

  • Model: UMCZC01AE

  • Sold on Amazon between January 2024 and April 2025 ($30–$50)

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, but parents are urged to stop using the loungers immediately. Refunds are available if consumers cut up the product, take photos, and send proof of destruction to urmyworecall@outlook.com.

4. Salmonella Outbreak Linked to Brown Eggs

Finally, a serious egg recall is underway after nearly 100 people fell ill across 14 states. California-based Country Eggs, LLC has recalled its Large Brown Cage Free Sunshine Yolk eggs due to salmonella contamination.

Brands and dates affected (Sell by: July 1 – Sept. 18, 2025):

  • Nagatoshi Produce

  • Misuho

  • Nijiya Markets

  • Country Eggs Large Brown Sunshine Yolks

So far, 95 people have gotten sick, with 18 hospitalized. Consumers are urged to discard or return the eggs immediately and to sanitize any surfaces they may have touched.

The Bottom Line

From veggies in your freezer to SUVs in your driveway, these recalls highlight just how wide-ranging safety concerns can be. Whether it’s foodborne illness or faulty manufacturing, the best step you can take is to check your products now and follow recall instructions right away.
