At 9 p.m. Sept. 24, officers received complaints that people were not stopping at a Fox Drive stop sign when entering the parking area off that road. After arriving on the scene, the officer found that someone had stolen the stop sign from the corner. The post to the sign was found on the band practice field, but the sign was missing. A work order was placed to replace the stop sign.
At 1:43 p.m. Sept. 24, a 39-year-old male student was upset in Curtiss Hall because his counseling appointment had been canceled twice in a row. He made a comment to someone that he should not be held legally responsible for what may happen as a result of the appointment being canceled. Officers followed up, and the student said he was just frustrated and the threat was not directed at SVSU.
At 6:32 p.m. Sept. 25, a 36-year-old female student reported that while walking across campus, she was approached by a white male with a red beard who indicated he was having a bad day and showed her his bloody knuckles. He followed her to Zahnow Library, where she able to get away from him.
